Are you ready to lead a summer filled with fun, learning, and adventure? Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center is looking for energetic, imaginative, and caring Summer Camp Teachers to join our team. This summer, help us create a magical and engaging environment where young minds between the ages of 4 and 12 can explore, grow, and shine!

Position: Summer Camp Teacher
Location: 156th & State, 168th & Blondo or 178th & Harrison
Duration: Summer 2024 (May 15 - August 31)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, hours can vary between 6AM-6PM

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and lead exciting, age-appropriate activities that may include arts and crafts, storytelling, games, and nature walks.
• Foster a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment for children to learn and have fun.
• Enjoy outings and field trips while supervising all of the kiddos along with other staff.
• Encourage creativity and discovery by implementing educational themes like "Under the Sea Adventures" or "Little Astronauts in Space."
• Coordinate small field trips and manage fun outdoor activities while ensuring child safety at all times.
• Collaborate with other camp staff to create an unforgettable summer learning experience.

Who You Are:

• You have a background in early childhood education, elementary education, or a related field.
• Experience in camp counseling, teaching, or child care is a plus.
• You bring creativity, enthusiasm, and patience to your work.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified before the commencement of the camp.
• You are a team player who loves working collaboratively but can also take the lead when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
