OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will assist in managing incoming leads, sales inquiries, data tracking, organization, and other aspects of the sales process. This position requires a self-starter with an optimistic and outgoing personality, collaborative style, excellent written and oral communication skills, and outstanding organizational and relationship-building competencies.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to incoming sales inquiries and work with the Director of Sales on potential business opportunities.
  • Utilize Salesforce to enter new contacts; manage sales lead information including meeting updates, conversations, and status of leads; and track progress through the R&D and onboarding processes.
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate records of existing clients including major customer events and updates, conversations, and general tracking of client relationships.
  • Generate reports, analyze information, and work with the Director of Sales to create and enhance sales strategies.
  • Flexibility in work; ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change, with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at one time
  • Track current and historical client sales and provide analytics and forecasting.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of price sheets.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity at a high level
  • Provide assistance as needed during the onboarding process to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assistant to the Director of Sales. Reporting to the Director and performing administrative duties as needed, primarily related to sales.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • MS Office proficiency – particularly Excel and Word, instrumentation software, and purchasing systems background
  • CRM or ERP software and systems background experience
  • Strong verbal and documented communication skills are a must
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and data documentation
  • Flexibility in work; ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change, with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at one time
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity at a high level
  • Fundamental knowledge or experience working with herbal ingredients is helpful
