We're growing! Yext needs an experienced Senior UX Researcher with 5 years of design research experience to augment our Product UX team. Ideal candidates will be seasoned professionals with a passion for uncovering measurable insights that immediately help teams build better products. They will be self-directed with a proven track record of designing and delivering research reports and atomic insights to cross-functional audiences. Successful candidates will be curious and thorough in their research execution and have a successful track record operating alongside designers. Must be inclined to work in team settings, be methodical in making UX recommendations, and Agile-oriented.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead innovative research with demonstrable impact on a global scale. You will be responsible for defining, leading, analyzing, and socializing research studies that generate insights to empower business decisions across the company. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams of Product Designers, Product Managers, Data Insight professionals, UX Engineers, and Sales Engineers who are passionate about delivering the most engaging, innovative, and inclusive digital experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, prioritize, and lead research roadmaps that generate insights to inform product development strategies across the company.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Data Science, Content, Marketing, and Brand to proactively develop research initiatives.
- Study our users, what motivates them, and how they leverage our platform through interviews, customer journey mapping, and persona development
- Define, design, execute and socialize a range of scheduled and ad-hoc research studies that build a strong understanding of existing and future audiences and their experiences
- Identify best practices in existing and emerging research methodologies.
- Leverage quantitative data from product usage and user surveys to measure the effectiveness of our experiences
What You Have
- 5 years of professional industry experience
- Deep experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Business intelligence or competitor analysis experience
- Experience managing research projects in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in industry-standard testing and data insights tools like UserTesting, Pendo, FullStory, Snowflake, Tableau
- Proficiency in organization tools like Slack, Google docs, Jira, or Excel
- Experience with accessibility research is a bonus, but not required
- A jaw-dropping online portfolio, free of typos
