Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Job Location: Fremont, CA
Key Responsibilities
- Manages key deliverables for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
- Leads customer-specific programs within the Marketing & Product Management group
- Ensures that all customer deliverables and Product Lifecycle (PLC) requirements are met on time
- Ensures that technical responses to customer Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for
Quotation (RFQs) are provided on time
- Develops, prioritizes, and implements all programs within the Product Management group,
coordinating cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to ensure that deliverables and
overall program execution meet all programs’ goals (cost, schedule)
- Serves as the technical liaison between customer needs and any factory resource requirements
- Drives cost estimates for customer-specific requests and assists in getting responses to
customers
- Drives RFI and RFQ responses to customers
- Compiles estimated cost models, submits final budget, tracks budget statistics, and prepares
management reports
- Determines appropriate responses to problems and emergencies
- Provides project status updates
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Master’s degree preferred
- 5-8 years of Program Management or Technical Product Management experience in a
technology-oriented organization. Semiconductor experience preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to act professionally with customers and resolve issues
- Adept in working in a global environment with customers, suppliers, and other YES employees.
Familiar with developing capital equipment
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and
solving problems
