About this Role
This position will work under the direction of the Facility Director to ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of our YMCA facility.

- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to follow schedules and deadlines to meet the needs of various YMCA programs.
- Ability to follow written instructions in the absence of direct supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Extremely reliable, dependable, and punctual; can work independently and within a team.
- Sound decision-making skills; ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
- Capable of performing basic math calculations, including fractions and decimals.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess basic computer skills including email and the internet.
- A criminal background check is required.

Shift is 1:00 - 9:30 pm

- Operations & Safety - Acknowledges and responds to facility concerns to ensure a high level of member satisfaction. Ensures the health and wellbeing of all at the YMCA by vacuuming, washing, mopping, laundering, dusting, and performing trash pickup and light maintenance. Provides rapid and timely response to all situations appropriately, calmly and professionally using proper techniques and completes incident reports as needed. Complies with all OSHA safety practices, maintains familiarity with MSDS locations and information, and complies with all safety methods, utilizing procedures for chemical and workplace safety.
- Data Tracking & Documentation – Maintains accurate and consistent maintenance logs, inventory and completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Salary
$15.50 – 16.50/hour, depending on experience.
