- MUST HAVE A DOCTORATE DEGREE AND MEET THE EDUCATION STANDARDS OF THE UNITED STATES
- MUST HAVE PASSED THE TOEFL OR IELTS ENGLISH EXAM (and not expired)
- MUST HOLD THE VISA SCREEN CERTIFICATE from a valid credentialing agency, such as FCCPT and CGFNS
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2-5 YEARS OF CURRENT EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE TAKEN AND PASSED THE NPTE (National Exam)
- Review patient history: Review medical records, referrals, or notes from other healthcare workers
- Observe patient movement: Observe patients walk, stand, and perform other tasks
- Listen to patient concerns: Listen to patients' concerns
- Develop care plans: Create individualized care plans based on patient goals, expected outcomes, and other factors
- Use methods to treat patients: Use exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and equipment to help patients
