Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively across various organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to define and achieve success in source-to-settle processes during ERP transformation.
Possess working knowledge of Workday Core Financials, Projects, Procurement, and Strategic Sourcing.
Familiarity with Lawson is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrate successful experience in large-scale organizational transformations.
Showcase proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) best practices.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, encompassing pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Draft and review contracts for compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor contract performance, addressing any issues or disputes that may arise.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, and quality assurance teams, to align supplier strategies with organizational goals.
Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams on supplier-related matters.
Drive process improvements and optimize the supply chain.
Develop, champion, and ensure the implementation of ideas that optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year for assigned spend categories.
Work with leadership and operations to streamline sourcing processes.
Track forecasted versus actual savings for each category and communicate performance against these measures and potential budgetary impacts.
Develop and implement commodity strategies, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure successful implementation and support.
Collaborate with business unit leadership to monitor contract compliance.
Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve set goals and objectives.
Talent Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management.
Demonstrated experience in source-to-settle (Procurement), preferably in a similar industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
Proficient in supplier performance evaluation and risk management techniques.
Knowledgeable about supply chain best practices and industry trends.
Working knowledge of relevant software tools and systems (Workday and Lawson).
Proven transformation and project management abilities.
