What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide - 2nd Shift position at Yona Solutions?
Yona Solutions is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team! Experience is not required, but preferred. We will provide on-the-job training. Must have a positive, cheerful attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service to the home and its residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts;
- Operates commercial washing machines and dryers;
- Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers;
- Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts;
- Keeps accurate records of linen inventory;
- Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing;
- Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner;
- Follows all company policies and procedures;
- Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs;
- Delivers laundry as specified;
- Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights;
Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
- Ability to work independently.
- Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
- Laundry experience is a plus!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
