IT Support Technician
Full-Time
The IT Support Technician provides timely technical assistance with computer systems, IT infrastructure, and productivity software administration. Answers queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support; diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Utilize the IT ticketing system to track, manage, organize, and escalate service requests and produce activity analysis reports for management.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Monitor IT related costs through monthly analysis of actual vs. budget.
- Provide training to new users for MS365 and other software.
- License management and record keeping for MS365 and other software.
- Perform system backups.
Qualifications include:
- High School diploma; IT associate degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Prior IT help desk or desktop support experience is a plus.
- Microsoft 365 fundamentals is a plus.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, phones, etc.
- Available and willing to work occasionally after hours and weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Must be able to build effective relationships within the IT team and all other departments.
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
- Must not have an active record with the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
