Responsibilities - Service Advisor:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking express vehicle services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and other minor maintenance tasks
- Greet customers courteously, assess their vehicle service needs, and recommend appropriate service options based on manufacturer recommendations and vehicle history
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of express service jobs and maintain efficient workflow
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on service status, additional recommendations, and estimated completion times
- Assist with scheduling service appointments, preparing service estimates, and processing service orders
- Support internal service operations by coordinating communication and workflow between service technicians and other departments
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions
Requirements - Service Advisor:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with computer systems and automotive service software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good work ethic
