Your Purpose:
As the Front Desk Manager at YouFit Gyms, you are responsible for managing operational aspects of the Front Desk for your location. This includes the opportunity to impact all areas of the Front Desk including revenue generation through creating an enhanced gym experience for all members, employees, and guests.

Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hour Commissions Monthly Bonus Potential
What You will do:
- Achieve supplementary revenue growth including retail sales and upsells
- Responsible for creating a positive member & guest experience: Friendly team, clean environment & well-maintained, functioning equipment
- Alongside the General Manager, successfully provide employee training to new team members of the Front Desk. Provide the General Manager with updated reporting on continued education and development of staff.
- Must successfully manage and oversee the front desk team to perform daily duties. (cleaning, sales, guest entry, etc.)
- Create and maintain the front desk schedule according to YouFit standards, budgetary requirements, and the club’s needs
- Responsible for Front Desk team policy/procedures, low to intermediate customer service issues, and communicating outstanding issues with the General Manager
- Must maintain all front desk logs, work orders, and maintain inventory levels
- Manage all club tickets, including but not limited to facilities tickets, equipment tickets, and IT tickets as well as updates technicians frequently to ensure a fast resolution
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing Front Desk and lobby area. This includes but is not limited to the cooler, retail displays, and up to date promotional marketing material.
- Responsible for completing Safety and Preventative Monthly inspections.
- Be available and reachable by their staff and leaders during reasonable working hours based on assigned schedule
- Reliable transportation is required and a means of transportation to make the gym bank deposits each week. Traveling within the immediate area of your location is required every week to ensure that outside marketing needs are being met.
What You will bring to the team:
- Knowledge of a formal sales system (preferred)
- Experience in sales and operations management or lead role
- Organized, flexible and resourceful
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience dealing directly with customers as well as vendors
- Projects a professional and healthy image through dress, behavior, and attitude
- Must have the ability to maintain the Point of Sale system (POS)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must fulfill minimum production requirements every month
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English language
- Experience in the fitness industry (preferred)
- Physical effort required to carry out daily duties such as lifting supplies and gym equipment potentially in excess of 50lbs
