Summary of Position
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for providing HR support to Project Managers and staff of specific offices within the region. This position is responsible for recruiting and onboarding of project staff in partnership with the Project Managers and project supervisors. The HR Manager will be responsible for various HR areas including benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
Essential Job Requirements
- Communicates various YoungWilliams policies, procedures, applicable State and Federal laws, standards and government regulations;
- Coordinates and assists with recruiting and onboarding of project staff, following corporate guidelines and ensuring that all State and Federal requirements are followed;
- Responds to and works with the Corporate office HR staff on employee relations issues;
- Assists with biweekly payroll processing and maintenance of time and attendance related records;
- Conducts New Hire Orientation and Benefit Presentations;
- Assists employees with benefit programs, including enrollment, completion of forms, questions, and open enrollment;
- Works closely with Corporate HR Department to complete HR related special projects as needed;
- Assists the Project Manager(s) with HR related duties as needed.
Required Education
- A Bachelor's Degree in HR management or a related field or equivalent work experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Required Experience
- Two or more years of experience in HR related activities is preferred.
- Interviewing and/or recruiting experience is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
Salary : $67,600 - $85,600
