Catering Attendant/Concessions Specialist

As a member of the award winning Grinnell College Dining Hall our dining services team members will be responsible for replenishing, maintaining, and cleaning food venues. Additionally, the dining services team members will have the opportunity to prepare student orders at various Marketplace venues. The team will be afforded the opportunity to gain exposure to a multitude of food preparations and develop professionally, by attaining certifications through continued education and on the job training. Roles & Responsibilities:

• This position requires a flexible work schedule
• Work alongside catering staff to assist with catering events around the campus
• Support with setup, execution of events, clean up, and cash handling
• Run concession stand for athletic events throughout the year
• Support other areas of dining services as needed
• Free food every shift that you work

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or 4 years or experience is required
• Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six months or more experience in commercial food services or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise
• Serve Safe Certificate

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
