Job Summary:
The Shift Leader at Your Pie in Augusta, Georgia is a Full-Time, hourly position within the hospitality/restaurant industry. Compensation and Benefits:
The Shift Leader position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, employees will have access to vacation and sick time, as well as opportunities for career growth and development within the franchise.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies
- Train and coach team members on company procedures, product knowledge, and customer service
- Monitor food quality and presentation, addressing any issues and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with scheduling and timekeeping for team members
- Collaborate with other shift leaders and managers to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and develop team members
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and ability to troubleshoot issues as needed
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
