The Director of Youth Programs plays a key role inYouth Services' mission to support youth and families to thrive in their communities by:

  1. providing, in collaboration with the associate director, department oversight regarding an array of programs that relate to support youth and young adults in windham county.
  1. implements, in collaboration with the associate director, best practices to achieve targeted outcomes as required by the department funders.
  1. envisions and oversees the expansion of youth-serving services to the broader community outside the focus of our specific funders.
  1. serving as a member of the leadership team at youth services and to work collaboratively to further the agency's mission, vision, and core values.

how can i be considered for the position?

you can be considered for this position if you meet the following qualifications:

  1. masters degree in social work or related field preferred with at least 3 years direct experience or a bachelor's degree in related field with at least 8 years direct service experience providing intensive case management to youth.
  1. experience working with youth and families, including crisis situations.
  1. experience managing and training staff in a professional work environment.
  1. experience providing trauma-informed supervision
  1. experience facilitating group meetings and processes.
  1. must have excellent and demonstrated organizational, observation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  1. advanced computer and analysis skills including experience with web based applications and databases, microsoft access, excel, word and google apps.

compensation: $55,000-$60,000 a year and comprehensive benefits
