Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and secure environment for program participants, staff and guests of the YWCA. Actively review work areas for security issues and notify appropriate staff of any issue that may be a safety concern.
- Complete scheduled inspections of offices, rooms, and facilities equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience is preferred.
- Understanding and commitment to issues of cultural diversity and anti-racism.
- Ability to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, some weekends and evenings required, including on-call hours as needed.
- Able to demonstrate skills in effective communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving.
Physical/Sensory Demands
Work is generally performed in a safe and confidential environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand and walk for long periods of time; perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement, lift 50 pounds; reach and bend; go up and down ladders.
