What are the responsibilities and job description for the Market Sales Manager, Washington DC position at ZAGG, Inc.?
The ZAGG Market Sales Manager is the face of the company for ZAGG. Their primary focus is managing retailer sell-thru in their assigned territory via weekly Store Visits, Trainings, and Events. They maintain and expand relationships with all our retail partners in their assigned territory. They will be responsible for improving sell-thru performance via product and sales process training, merchandising compliance, and assigned strategic account objectives.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
US Wireless carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. As well as consumer electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish productive, professional relationships with retail leadership and the retail stores within your assigned territory.
- Proactively source weekly retailer training opportunities at Region, District, and/or Store levels to efficiently train all retail employees within your assigned territory.
- Participate in monthly side by side Sales Events with retailers to demonstrate the sales process firsthand
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Manage existing retailer sell-thru
- Daily store visits to core retailers.
- Improve retailer personnel knowledge of InvisibleShield, mophie, ZAGG, and Gear4 products
- Work with each retailer to assess the most effective method to include our products in their corporate-driven sales process
- Audit in-store merchandising compliance
- Confirm marketing initiatives
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in or equivalent work experience required
- 4 years’ experience working in retail
- Experience working in Consumer Electronics/Wireless Retail preferred
- Must be able to be physically present for training sessions, presentations, and meetings. Some travel.
- Customer inventory analytical background preferred.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Microsoft Enterprise Software.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator.
- Strong problem identification and creative/collaborative resolution skills
