Job Posting for Information Security Administrator at ZAH Group
The Information Security Administrator is responsible for administering the security aspects of infrastructure tools and platforms and first line support duties for security-related end-user requests. The position is also responsible for responding to security alerts (9x5) and performing risk assessments/configuration audits on products, technologies and processes. Other primary responsibilities include incident response participation, providing security expertise/direct support to business units, developing internal documentation and filling out KPI dashboards. Secondary responsibilities include helping develop/ implement the overall information security strategy and developing information security policies, all leading to improving Klein Tools security culture.
Act as the first line of support for information security related end-user requests, including remote desktop support sessions and exercise independent and autonomous decision-making to resolve requests.
Monitor systems/SOC alerts for irregular behavior and implement preventive measures independently as needed.
Primary system administrator for security awareness, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, and email security.
Participate in the analysis, remediation, and mitigation of security incidents
Perform risk assessments on new and existing products, technologies, and processes following an existing framework. Outline potential impacts and recommendations to leadership.
Provide direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues.
Provide security expertise and assistance in IT projects.
Research the latest information security trends.
Prepare reports that document general metrics.
Assist with the development and implementation of the Company's information security strategy.
Assist in the creation, development, and implementation of information security policies, standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Be a positive influence on improving company security culture.
Perform other duties as assigned within the nature and level of work.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or technical degree in computer science, information systems, information systems security, cybersecurity, information security, or related fields. At least three (3) years of career experience. Three years of experience in information security, information technology or related fields and two years (parallelexperience) of system administration experience in a Windows server and endpoint environment.
Experience with administering Office365/Azure, vulnerability management, and security awareness training. Experience working with a third-party security operations center. Experience with privileged access management tools and firewall security is preferred. Experience organizing and developing internal documentation (processes, procedures, etc). Standard industry certification (ie. GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CySA , or ECSA) is preferred.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with employees across all levels of the company. Ability to analyze and solve problems and work in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products. Must be able to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and work independently to completion of tasks and deadlines.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
