Description:

As an Electrical Apprentice for Zajac, LLC you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and repair of electrical systems, electrical control systems, pneumatic systems and electrical instrumentation in the Industrial Electrical industry.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Team player with the willingness and ability to learn.
• Assist with installing power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, Stainless Steel Rigid Conduit, Galvanized Rigid Conduit, PVC Coated Rigid Conduit, MC Cable, Strut and Cable Tray.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, motor controls, panels, and electrical/control circuits.
• Assisting with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as: switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies.
• Maintaining current electrical apprentice card or identification card to meet state regulations.
• Assist with testing electrical systems and circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
• Ensure compliance with the NEC, NFPA, local codes and customer specifications.

Specific Requirements:

• Three years of experience as a commercial/industrial apprentice.
• Will comply with the National Electrical code to assist in the installation and repair of all electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams and P&ID’s.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of, and adherence to, job site safety.
• High standard of integrity and professionalism.
• Able to work overtime and paid travel as requested.
• Valid Electrical Apprentice License
