As a Zaxby’s Assistant Manager you will:
- Complete all training requirements including:
- Zaxby’s Learning Center Learning Plan and Basic Operations Training
- Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification
- Any additional training required by Zaxby's
- Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations
- Ensure team members receive proper training including ongoing coaching and development
- Create a welcoming environment for Guests and Team Members
- Oversee inventory control to ensure we consistently provide fresh, hot food with a smile to every Guest while also managing costs
- Plan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations and adjusting as needed
- Supervise, provide leadership, and coach team members to perform at their highest level of ability and strive to achieve quarterly goals.
- Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby’s Franchising LLC
- Handle and report guest and team member complaints/concerns/injuries timely and in a friendly and respectful manner
- Communicate well with Team Members and other Managers
- Strive for operational excellence in every aspect of the restaurant
- Maintain accurate, detailed accounting on all daily paperwork
- Develop talent of our Team Members through ongoing training and feedback
- Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
- Increase sales and profits through great Team Members by providing ENCORE experiences to our Guests and managing food and labor costs
- All other duties necessary to ensure restaurant operations function properly

Additional Info
Initial Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 yr. experience managing people in a restaurant environment.
- Office environment; work with computer and office equipment. Restaurant environment; work with advanced kitchen and front-of-house operational equipment.
- Previous restaurant experiences preferred.

- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch or climb, including the use of ladders
- Frequently lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead

- Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment
- Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
