What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP, Provider Sales position at Zelis?
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the SVP of Provider Networks to execute on sales initiatives that meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results
- Develop a clear understanding of the Zelis sales process, coach and develop sales team to utilize a disciplined sales cycle approach
- Establish an ongoing cadence of pipeline reviews with sales team to deliver accurate sales forecasts to leadership
- Create synergies with multiple departments throughout the organization to enhance sales collaboration and increase win rates, with emphasis on the product and marketing teams
- Strategize with sales executives on current opportunities, create value propositions that can be used to gain access to decision-makers and shorten sales cycles
- Maximize the usage of Salesforce and other system tools to identify whitespace opportunities and prioritize outreach efforts with our clients
- Mentor sales reps on the creation and delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews to optimize territory planning and target high profile accounts
- Hire, coach and develop sales executives to effectively collaborate, articulate and execute on Zelis' One Platform mission statement for our provider market
- Contribute to constructive cultural norms across the Payments business

Experiences/Background:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
- 10 years in healthcare technology sales
- 5 years in sales management
- Demonstrated success of sales growth and quota achievement within a healthcare technology environment
