Location: 10101 Woodloch Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380 (hybrid role)
Duration: 3 months contract w/ possibility of extension
Notes:
- Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8 hours, flexible start & end time.
- This position is hybrid, so sometimes working from home will be allowed. However, the number of days allowed to work from home will be based on the needs of the role.

Description:
- Responsible for performing one or more of the following activities: processing new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, computing and processing time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments, and special pays; maintains vacation, sick leave and worker's compensation records; compiles reports on base and premium pay; posts entries to journals; prepares tax deposits and reports; generates checks; and researches and produces special reports.
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
- Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years payroll or payroll tax experience.
- It would be helpful for the candidate to have experience working with Tax Agencies and processing address changes.
- Experience working with Workday and Smart Compliance.
