The Global Business Development and Account Manager role is pivotal in driving the expansion of our company's global footprint and fostering strong client relationships worldwide. Essential Functions And Duties
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries within the medical device sector in the assigned region
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate leads and convert them into new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in medical device companies
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create tailored sales pitches and marketing materials specific to medical devices and polymer applications
- Utilize expertise in polymer materials to address technical inquiries related to medical device manufacturing and provide solutions to customer challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our polymer products/services in medical device applications
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with medical device clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics related to medical devices and polymer materials
- Represent the company at medical device industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our polymer products/services
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
- Assists in special projects as needed
- Continually increase knowledge of orthodontics, industry trends, and company processes
- Communicate regularly with senior management, presenting reports, insights, and recommendations related to raw material sourcing activities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, International Relations, etc.
- 7 years’ experience in business development and sales, with a strong background in the medical device sector
- 3 years in experience working with polymer materials and a solid understanding of their applications and properties
- 7 years of experience international business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory frameworks. Ability to navigate complex global markets and develop strategies to penetrate new territories while mitigating risks
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Relations
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes, regulations, and quality standards
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead discussions and close deals for complex business agreements, contracts, and partnerships. Ensuring that all agreements align with company objectives, financial goals, and legal requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
