Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 40 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center partners with Neighborhood Health Association to provide primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.
We are currently seeking a full-time RN Coordinator to provide administrative support for the Inpatient Manager and for the nursing department in addition to the duties and responsibilities of a Nursing Coordinator. This position is responsible for assisting in providing direct supervision to medical staff as well as providing direct patient services. The RN Coordinator will help oversee daily operations of their units and ensure proper care is provided for all patients. When the Inpatient Director is not available the RN Coordinator provides leadership and guidance to medical staff and assures the program runs smoothly.
Essential Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Serves as primary support to all staff in association with Inpatient Withdrawal Management, and Inpatient Residential,
- Works in collaboration with team members to assure smooth operations within the unit and clinics.
- Provides direct clinical oversight to LPN staff.
- Handles, orders and maintain inventories of supplies as required to support daily clinical activities handles patient phone calls and triage for urgent needs and communicates with the providers
- Uses established channels of communication and proper lines of authority for problem solving and communication.
- Assist with Quality Improvement and unit specific key performance indicators.
- Assist with Medical Chart audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assists in documentation of incidents and participates in safety programs and disaster/fire drills.
- Provide on-call coverage with rotation of Nursing Coordinators
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Must have 2-5 years of clinical experience
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is required
- Professional and leadership abilities and qualifications
