Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences. Duties:
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety guidelines
- Supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
- Manage inventory levels and order necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Chef in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create diverse and flavorful dishes
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team
- Proficient in kitchen management software and systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
