PCBA Maintenance Technician

Responsibilites:

• Capable of training Technicians, Engineers and Operators in troubleshooting or advanced operations of automated production equipment.
• Capable of collecting & analyzing equipment performance information for use in continuous improvement efforts.
• Capable of creating basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams or schematics as required.
• Reviews engineering notes, drawings, process instructions or control guidelines for accuracy and recommends improvements prior to release.
• Capable of performing repeatability and calibration procedures on equipment.
• Able to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinates detailed phases of the technician work for part of a major project or an entire project of moderate scope (i.e., project management)
• Capable of making adjustments to parts libraries, lighting and other related adjustments on SMT equipment.
• Able to establish technical policies/procedures and justify improvement projects ex. preventive maintenance, lockout/tag-out
• Research and implement Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Procedures (Technician & Operator level)
• Comply with and support the Health, Safety and Environmental programs, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• AS Technical degree in related field with 2 years related experience; or High School Diploma or GED with 5 years experience; or BS technical degree in related field with 1 year related experience; or 2 years as a “Technician II”

• Possess ability to read & understand electrical/electronic schematics, theory of mechanical dimensions/tolerances, design, materials, and packaging fundamentals
