About the role

Zillow Group is looking for an experienced Treasury Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to help take our team to the next level in building a world-class Treasury function by driving foundational work in Financial Risk. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with teams and build a broad internal network!

You Will Get To:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance Zillow's risk management strategies, focusing on stress testing, governance, oversight mechanisms, and insightful reporting.

  • Amplify decision-making by developing and refining data visualization tools, such as dashboards and reports, for improved oversight across Zillow.

  • Enhance Zillow's counterparty risk management by conducting credit analysis and developing proactive monitoring tools in response to real-world events.

  • Become a trusted advisor and partner to business, product, and finance teams, helping to educate partners on financial risks and their long-term impact on Zillow's success.

  • Contribute to Zillow's future growth by crafting and implementing risk management frameworks, including leading indicators, dashboards, and preset action plans.

  • Play a key role in the development of innovative risk management solutions and strategies to support strategic capital allocation decisions.

  • Support new product development by establishing financial risk oversight mechanisms, sharing industry standards, and encouraging a culture of risk-aware decision-making

You’ll also expand Treasury’s influence by building strong personal relationships, driving creation of processes that balance speed and rigor, and continually looking around corners to ensure we’re positioned to scale. 

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $97,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree such as a Master's in Business Administration, Economics, or similar is preferred. Financial Risk Management (FRM) certification a plus.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Public Accounting, or Internal Audit, with an outstanding background spanning corporate treasury, investment banking, financial services, real estate, and/or mortgage industries.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing hedging strategies, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risk management.

  • Proven track record of driving large-scale projects to completion across multiple teams, showcasing strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to effectively engage with key partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for distilling difficult concepts that are easy to understand
