What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Trainer position at ZimmVet?
ZimmVet has an opening for an experienced dog trainer to join our top of the line pet care team. ZimmVet is the AAHA Practice of the Year and has many services besides veterinary care including daycare, hotel and grooming. Read more about our business at ZimmVet.com. Dog trainer must have experience training puppy classes and basic pet obedience classes. The trainer would set the class fees, days and time. Usually classes would take place in the evenings or weekends. Experienced ZimmVet staff take care of all of the paperwork and class fee collection. The trainer would get a set percentage of the class fees. Teach one night a week or multiple, weekend training classes are an option. The trainer would also get referrals when our clients are looking for private training. We practice positive fear-free handling and would like the trainer to follow the same philosophy.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per month
