Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking a Test Analyst located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Test Analyst will work closely with systems analyst team to test enhancements and fixes to the Teller and Account opening and servicing platforms. The candidate will ensure that best practices, processes, methodologies and criteria are aligned with quality governance standards. The Test Analyst will lead, co-ordinate and perform testing activities for the requested changes to the branch banking system. Specifically, the Test Analyst will also be responsible for:

Preparing detailed test suites providing adequate test coverage for planned product releases.

Executing tests within a specified time, document and report test results.

Identifying test cases for Smoke and Regression test automation suites.

Providing quality feedback and presenting exit summary reports to release management on a monthly and or quarterly basis.

Preventative and administrative controls to prevent the unauthorized use, release, modification or destruction of test data.

Ensuring that testing methods align with established frameworks.

Identifying, reporting and escalating security control failures and deficiencies.

Documenting testing standards, procedures and process workflows.
Qualifications
-
Be skillful at talking to developers and collaborating with test engineers.
-
Experience working with Mainframe, network based and distributed systems.
-
Working knowledge of Deposits, Account opening/servicing and compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of Acceptance, Entry, Exit criteria and Defect management.

Understand software config management process and handle deployments to QA test environments.
-
Well versed with Test planning, Matrices and Traceability Matrix.

Understand APIs and webservices/SOAP.

Working knowledge of application lifecycle management and test tools preferably MS Azure DevOps (ADO).

Understand test automation and test automation framework.

Thorough understanding of software testing life cycle and Agile testing methodology.

A thorough understanding of personal computers and productivity packages like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

Understanding of complex software and system interfaces.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Some QA testing, system software/hardware applications or systems experience or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
