Orthodontic Front Desk Receptionist
A private Orthodontic practice with two locations (Boca Raton and Boynton Beach) is looking for an friendly, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to run our front office operations. A successful candidate will be highly organized with excellent communication and customer service skills. Courteous manners, positive outlook and professional demeanor is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Handle patient calls, schedule appointments, and manage the doctor’s schedule.
· Contact patients to confirm appointments.
· Greet patients upon their arrival and provide exceptional customer service.
· Verify insurance benefits prior to new patient visits.
· Maintain our Facebook, Instagram (social media): Must be able to edit photos to be posted on our accounts.
· Type correspondence to other professional practices.
· Oral communication - Able to communicate clearly and professionally, in both English and Spanish. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Adaptability - Able to multi-task, be collaborative and stress tolerance.
· Quality Control - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Monitor work to ensure accuracy and quality.
Job Requirements/Position Qualifications:
· High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
· Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
· 2 years front office experience, preferably in a dental setting.
· Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office/ Google document programs.
· Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience)
· High School Diploma or GED, advanced education preferred and two (2) years experience in a similar role performing reception and administrative duties.
· Able to operate a VoIP telephone and its web-based portal for texting and faxes
· Able to relay messages and interact with callers and patients in a welcoming and assisting manner
· Skilled at performing basic administrative tasks
· Able to provide proactive follow up to tasks assigned
· Knowledge of office methods, procedures and common office equipment
· Able to operate a personal computer and use Microsoft Office software and Google document programs
· Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies)

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
