Our high volume 7000 sq ft store carries over 2000 Spirits, 2500 Wines and 3500 Beers from local to worldwide. We are also the number 1 seller of kegs in Minnesota.

We are seeking an Wine enthusiast for our Assistant Wine Merchandiser and Sales. You MUST be 21 years of age or older.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for customer service and sales help in the wine department.

1. Assists buyer with department organization, stock and display needs.

1. Monitors and directs safety, sanitation and loss prevention standards in the department and throughout the store.

1. Participates in receiving merchandise and back room organization.

1. Cashier responsibilities for the legal sales of alcohol beverages, while ensuring proper cash handling and inventory accuracy.

1. Stocking duties throughout the store.

1. An active part of the management team.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Must have wine knowledge, certifications preferred.

1. Must be available to work a schedule, which includes a variety of days, evenings, weekends and holidays

1. Passion for people and the willingness to explore, expand and learn. Also the willingness to share knowledge and inspire passion in others. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with a variety of people, including fellow employees, customers, and vendors, on a daily basis self motivated.

1. Previous sales experience of wine.

1. Passion for the industry and broad knowledge of its potential impact on the customer.

1. Ability to frequently reach, lift, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 100lbs.

1. Assist in all aspects of store inventory maintenance

1. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
