Overview The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) at ZOLL | Circulation will be responsible for developing and delivering the health economics, reimbursement, and market access strategy for Circulation products. This role will work alongside and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing team members to support physicians and accounts by providing super-saturated oxygen, IV temperature management, and other new Circulation therapies. Account management and development is a critical function of the FRM role. The FRM will work directly with hospitals and physicians to overcome barriers to disruptive and new therapies. The FRM will execute local market plans to support field-based priorities. This will include understanding and educating on local health policy, reimbursement, billing, coding, and patient access issues. The FRM as part of the Reimbursement and Market Access team will work with other team members to optimize coverage and payment. Other responsibilities may include leading direct payor advocacy strategies and evidence planning. The FRM will communicate economic value propositions to providers, IDNs, ACOs, GPOs, and payors, supporting widespread utilization of ZOLL Circulation technologies. This position will be an integral member of quality initiative teams, working hand-in-hand with providers to measure and interpret therapy value. The FRM will always assure compliance with company policies and regulations on communicating product value messages and reimbursement information. This full-time position reports to the Director, Global Reimbursement and Health Economics, with corporate headquarters in San Jose, CA. Deliver reimbursement and health economic education for hospital C-Suite, value analysis committees, service line directors, supply managers, purchasing staff, billing and coding staff, and other value purchasers. Provide in-service training to sales and customers to increase awareness of and education on coding and billing for ZOLL Circulation therapies. Provide reimbursement support to expand therapy access, including supporting the reimbursement email inquiry boxes. Address reimbursement issues and partner with physician accounts to support claim resolution. Cultivate relationships with key hospital administrators, integrated delivery network administrators, and group purchasing and payor organizations. Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions. Serve as a strategic business partner with field sales leadership to develop and deliver value messaging. Support policy efforts through participation in specialty society and trade organization work groups and meetings as needed. Identify physicians to assist with reimbursement or payor coverage policy advocacy. Participate in teleconference and live national and regional meetings and training sessions. Represent ZOLL at national and/or local conventions when requested. Ensure behaviors consistent with healthcare compliance guidelines. Build a field reimbursement specialist team.
