Job Description
To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service by creating a Field Service Engineer role in.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will support our mission of providing safe, high-quality service that is performed efficiently to our customers.
Your location in Greenvile will put you close to your customers' locations, and you will service all our brands and products to provide a great customer experience.
In addition, you will report to the Contract Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Be our customer's first contact and an ambassador and technical expert for our brands.
Troubleshoot customer systems to ensure they operate at the desired quality and productivity.
Engage others in the organization to guide 100% of field issues to completion.
Create detailed customer service reports and update them in the database.
Inspect customer warranty claims and gather the data required to validate a warranty claim.
Train customers to use our Client IAS equipment and software correctly.
Train other Client personnel to repair equipment.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule. You may need to work early, late occasionally, or on weekends as the workload requires.
May travel up to 70% locally and 30% nationally.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting/ resolving field equipment issues.
Blueprint and technical reading skills.
Customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.
Reporting remotely to the New Hudson facility.
Familiar with manufacturing/production or assembly-plant working conditions.
Understand technical concepts and can detail them in writing.
Motivated to achieve targets.
