Position Overview:
As a Compensation Analyst, you will lead financial modeling, analyze sales and corporate compensation plans, validate metrics results for incentive-based programs and create and present performance management reporting. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all functional areas relative to compensation models, performance management and ad-hoc analyses.
You will prepare financial models, ratios and metrics to actual performance and thoroughly document compensation plans within Executive Leadership’s existing strategy and framework. This position will exercise a high level of financial and business acumen and will report to the Global Compensation Director. This position requires extreme confidentiality and care to keep sensitive information secure.

What you’ll do as the Compensation Analyst:
Analyze and reporting compensation expense based on monthly, quarterly and annual performance of individual performers, sales managers, sales directors and related indirect sales performers based on performance metrics
Build financial models to measure changes in incentive compensation plans for annual plans
Provide metrics and business analysis and recommendations to executive leadership to support decisions affecting sales compensation
Regularly benchmark competitor pay practices and compensation plans
Provide excellent customer service to employees, management, and business partners
Document all compensation plans within executive framework and partner with HR and Finance for rollout and delivery to the sales organization
What you’ll bring as the Compensation Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and or a Certified Compensation Analyst a plus
5 years of related compensation experience across various functional areas (Sales exposure preferred)
Strong knowledge of sales compensation and variable compensation plans
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-review and incorporate functionality to mitigate potential errors in calculations
Ability to work independently and apply analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent results
Capacity to be flexible and adapt to shifting priorities, and be a collaborative team player
Acute understanding of confidentiality and access to sensitive information
Flexible and open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to all levels of management.
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $110,000 - $120,000, this role is eligible for bonus compensation.
- Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
