We are searching for an Electrical Controls Technician to join our client’s growing team.
Basic Job Functions:
- Provide electrical support through automation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance functions
- Perform configuration, programming, monitoring, & troubleshooting for PLCs, network switches, servers, and HMI workstations
- Develop and implement projects for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience in manufacturing; electrical training or equivalent military experience
- Knowledge in power distribution, motor control centers, instrumentation, automated systems, PLC and HMI programming, and variable frequency drive troubleshooting in manufacturing.
- Basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Extensive AC & DC drive experience
- Self-starter
- Proven team player that works effectively in a group
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to Safety in all job aspects
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2year technical degree in electrical maintenance technology and 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Extensive AC & DC motors and drives experience
- Knowledge and experience with Power systems maintenance
- Extensive PLC systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
- HMI Wonderware, Factory Talk building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
- Basic pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge
Salary : $42 - $46
