What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at ZT Systems?
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying and closing new enterprise accounts in addition to managing the customer relationship. The BDM will serve as the point of contact to enhance customer awareness of ZT’s global services, managed services, cloud, and data center services. The Business Development Manager will provide valuable insights and recommendations to support the client’s strategic initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to understand roadmaps, offerings, technologies, incentives, and areas of joint opportunities
- Responsible for performing all aspects of Business Development
- Proven ability to close deals
- Establishing and maintaining new client relationships and Teaming Partner relationships in targeted geographies
- Conduct client presentations, estimation efforts and proposals and negotiations
- Responsible for driving revenues from go-to-market solutions identified as a good fit for their account portfolio
- Work closely with the Solutions Leader to build customized solutions pitches for the target account
- Conduct industry research and competitor analysis
- Build and manage account plan for targeted accounts
- Build and manage a territory plan for designated region
What You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of data center technologies (Including liquid cooling), future trends (including AI and GPU technologies), and direction, including hyperscale industry competitors
- Strong industry and customer relationships. Able to impact pipeline from day one
- Knowledge of end to end managed Infrastructure Services go-to-market solutions a plus
- Experience with global delivery organizational selling and support processes a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
- Solid business, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong skills in hands-on execution and project management
- Must have a pragmatic, hands-on style, and the ability to think outside the box
- Strong planning and priority-setting abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
- Experienced at managing and delivering on time with multiple concurrent priorities
- Must have the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
Competencies:
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
- Proven ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with both internal partners and external clients
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree - required; Engineering Degree preferred. MBA preferred
Experience:
- 12-15 years of relative experience in server or a relative industry
