Under the direct supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Integrated Behavioral Health Provider is responsible for providing trauma-informed behavioral health services at Zufall Health Center sites.

Job Description
As a Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) at Zufall Health, you will provide high quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. The BHP will provide brief, targeted assessment and intervention within an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced work environment and are committed to serving low-income, underserved populations. The BHP approaches their task in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and the clinical care team to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of integrated health care
- Conduct brief interventions with a high volume of patients
- Provide consultation services that may include differential diagnosis, psychoeducation, brief intervention, referral for further treatment, etc.
- Provide evidence-informed interventions to assist patients and the interdisciplinary team in managing symptoms and improve functioning
- Conduct mental health screenings utilizing standardized instruments
- Available for crisis assessment and management
- Maintains a visible presence and is available for same-day and scheduled initial consultations with patients
- Consults with and advises other clinical care team members on methods of assisting patients and their families in overcoming social and emotional difficulties which may prevent effective healthcare
- Provide care in person and via telehealth
- Participate and present in care conferences patient groups, educational programs for staff and for patients, staff meetings, staff trainings and other venues as assigned
- Opportunity to service interns and LSW’s if desired, depending on location and experience
- No weekends or on call
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Licensed in New Jersey as an LCSW
- Two years post graduate experience in clinical/ambulatory care setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working with groups preferred
- Experience with telemedicine preferred
