Zylo is looking for an exceptional, revenue-driven Events and Field Marketing Lead to develop and execute our overall event and field marketing strategies. Reporting directly to the Director, Customer Marketing, the Events and Field Marketing Lead is detail-oriented and is an expert in creating exceptional online and in-person events that drive pipeline and directly impact business goals.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Director, Customer Marketing to develop, coordinate and carry out conference and event strategies based on objectives like pipeline, brand awareness, customer engagement, and thought leadership.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns to support pre- and post-event promotion and engagement for prospect and customer events.
  • Own third-party event strategy and execution, including but not limited to identifying top-performing industry events, coordination of sales needs, overseeing sponsorship fulfillment programs to ensure that all sponsorship benefits are maximized, budget management, securing venue spaces events, creating, gathering, and shipping support materials and collateral, pre-and post-show communications with the internal team, attendees, prospects, customers, and partners
  • Support demand generation and pipeline efforts for online and offline event-based marketing programs that compliment our ABM strategy for prospects and customers.
  • Own the event session agenda across our digital and in-person events, including creating the complete session schedule, handling speaker selection and gender diversity ratios, producing a run-of-show, coordinating speaker logistics, spearheading tech rehearsals, and working with our internal team members and external partners to ensure a successful event
  • Create and maintain an annual field marketing strategy and calendar with detailed proposals for events, including timelines, venues, vendors, staffing, and budgets
  • Collect input and feedback from sales and other internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and help achieve sales and marketing pipeline
  • Own metrics and reporting for all event efforts, including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and awareness metrics.
  • Track and optimize the event funnel, striving to improve conversion at every conversion point: promotion, registration, and follow-up
  • Track event performance, including pipeline generation and return on investment, and deliver post-event readouts

What you will need:

  • Minimum of five years of experience working in event or field marketing, preferably in the B2B technology space
  • Equal parts creative thinker, results-driven and detail oriented
  • Consistent record of building successful partnerships with sales teams to craft programs that are results driven in their approach
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time and be able to attend all customer, prospect and company events in-person that we are engaged with.
  • Confident in hitting the ground running and taking over trade show management right away
  • You're a well-versed project manager and you don't overlook micro and macro details
