Responsibilities/Duties: Obtain MRI Orders/requests for target locations in the organization by monitoring our EMR System, phone, online, or emails. Conduct Online/Phone Authorization request for MRI's. Conduct Online/Phone authorization investigation of MRI benefits. Communication of authorization/benefits/co-payments to patients prior to exams. Update authorization status through process and confirm receipt of MRI. Scheduling of MRI and follow-up visits with the physicians. Facilitation of Peer-to-Peer reviews for MRI, as needed.
