Under the general supervision of the Practice Director, is responsible for assisting the Physicians, Advance Practice Professionals, and practice team with direct and support related patient care, while treating patients in a respectful, confidential, and friendly manner. Clinical: •Documents patient's chief complaint and medical history, and completes pertinent forms in accordance with best practice workflows. Prepares Provider for a successful appointment by communicating pertinent information gleaned from pre-visit/chart prep completion •Performs phlebotomy for needed testing •Performs EKGs, rapid strep screen, flu swab, INR, pregnancy tests and other tests that may be ordered by the Provider in accordance with CLIA waived regulations •Assists in minor procedures such as pap smears, suturing, dressing changes, catheterizations and casting.
