SUMMARY The Robotics and Automation Engineer supports and maintains the I4.0 Robotics and Industrial Automation Lab, other Industry 4.0 Labs, and other labs related to robotics and automation; actively participates in planning and development of lab capabilities; supports implementation of robotics and automation curriculum, including safety training and supervision of students working in the robotics and automation labs; provides technical support to faculty and students engaged in robotics or automation research; and represents the department for tours and on-campus recruiting events when requested. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors of engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field from an ABET accredited school preferred but industrial experience is an acceptable alternative.
