Job Summary APPROPRIATE CREDENTIAL OR PERMIT ISSUED BY THE CTC: 30-DAY TEACHING PERMIT, MULTIPLE SUBJECT, OR SINGLE SUBJECT TEACHING CREDENTIAL. Substitute teachers will be paid at the rate of $ 195 per day K-8 certificated teachers. If employed continuously for a period exceeding 10 consecutive days for the same teacher, the rate increases to $ 215 per day K-8 beginning on the 11th consecutive day. Partial days will be prorated based on a 7 hour day. Requirements / Qualifications Comments and Other Information Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result. In addition, the selected candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive a clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation and submission of required documents.
