Job Description Job Description FoliePop's French Pastry & Coffee House is looking to welcome a Catering Assistant into the FoliePop's Family. The Catering Assistant position consists of developing the FoliePop's catering Network with wedding planners, wedding venues, vendors, restaurants, hotels, & businesses in the Austin and surrounding area. This position is in direct contact with the FoliePop's founders & the managers of the FoliePop's Network. While the role consists in maintaining current relationships with catering partners, there is an emphasis on gathering new leads, organizing partner tastings & bringing in new partners to develop the FoliePop's Catering. The Catering Assistant works off of commission based on the partners & orders brought in. In close collaboration with The Chefs, we are looking to start out onboarding now, which will consist in a few weeks of training and shadowing with a big career opportunity within the next few months. ABOUT YOU: Service Oriented, Friendly and Approachable Have reliable transportation No full service catering experience required (but is a plus) Able to stand on your feet for periods of up to 10 hours and able to lift 50 lbs comfortably Have availability to work events on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays Comfortable in many roles, jumping in wherever needed ABOUT THE POSITION: $15-$20/hr Weekly pay Free shift meals. No experience necessary Option to meet on-site at events available This is an hourly position with most events occurring in the evening Friday-Sunday. Pay is inclusive of hourly rate plus percentage of event and tips Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications Have a valid TABC Certification or will acquire one within one week of being hired After initial interview, you will be scheduled for 1-2 paid working trial shifts to see what we're all about. Description: The Catering Supervisor supervises the total catering operations in one of our units. This position includes duties such as catering order taking, driver scheduling, catering production and preparation, general cleanliness and organization of the catering department. The Catering Supervisor works with outside customers and directly communicates with guests daily. As the Catering Supervisor, you will supervise the preparation, presentation and service of our great food. The Catering Supervisor interacts closely with catering & retail employees as well as the restaurant managers. Essential Functions: -Takes and modifies orders over phone using POS -Enters orders placed online into POS -Resolves customer concerns with manager approval -Assigns deliveries to catering employees -Begins and completes baking/food preparation -Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls -Makes deliveries / by vehicle and or by foot -Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation -Responsi
