Badin is a strong community school and a good relationship exists between home, school, and the community. For example, we use the Badin Inn Golf Club as a major fundraiser with an annual golf tournament. The cooperative spirit that the town was built upon is present to this day. The natural areas are part of the appeal in Badin. Badin Lake and Morrow Mountain enrich this community. These natural beauties of the Badin area are the focus of a beautiful scenic panorama in the Media Center (showing trees, shrubs, birds, and flowers native to Badin; the lake, and a section representative of a dam, with stones from the area) done by a local artist. Badin Students The current population of Badin School is 446. Our population has changed quite a bit in the past several years due to the local economy, a large redistricting of our entire school system and the fact that several new schools have opened. Our school is divided into three main sections. In the older building, we have a Kindergarten-1st grade primary wing and a 2nd - 3rd grade elementary wing. The 4th and 5th grades are located in a separate building. We are fortunate to have a gym, a computer lab, an art room, and an auditorium that are in constant use by all grade levels at the school.
