The Berkshire Village Covenants were established on August 4, 1970. The Berkshire Village is comprised of eighty-eight (88) private homes. Bordered on the north by East Wesley Avenue, on the south by East Yale Ave, to the west is South Nome Street and to the east is South Peoria Street. East Harvard Ave cuts through the middle of the Village, with South Oswego Street running north & south through Berkshire Village connected by South Oakland Circle on the northern section of the HOA. The Berkshire Village Covenants are intended to provide a basis for protecting and enhancing the members equity in their property and for protecting the framework within which people can live in harmony in a rather small physical space. We are neighbord on the east by the Telegraph Hill II townhomes and by the Eastridge Community Association to our west. Just at our outskirts on the north side is the Eastridge Community Elementary School on East Wesley Ave. The fundamental purpose of our Covenants is to provide a basis for protecting and enhancing the members equity in their property, protect and meet owners expectations regarding community standards of appearance and behaviour, while protecting the framework within which residents can live in harmony in a rather small physical space, such as is ours of only 88 individual homes.
