Over 30 years ago, I-30 was only a 4 lane highway, two lanes going each way. At that time our Beverage Depot was the Debonair Danceland where country music was heard until the wee hours of the morning. The front part of the store was a Kroger grocery store. Shaun bought the store in 1995 and opened the store in February of 1997. Three times the store was expanded and 4 years ago we added 5 thousand square feet to receiving. The Stemmons Trail Store was a restaurant before we purchased it. We had 11,000 square feet, then we added 16,000 more square feet to the building. We opened the store in August 2008. December 24, 2009 it was 30 degrees and snowing hard. Customers were lined to the street waiting to get in.
