The Big Buddy Program is a non-profit youth organization that is committed to providing positive role models in the lives of the youth we serve. We believe that it is important for every child to have a positive role model leading him or her to make good choices resulting in a healthy, rewarding life. To that end, the Big Buddy Program sets up programs that follow our children from elementary school all the way through college. We match kids with a caring adult, we provide kids with the opportunity to participate in positive activities and rich learning experiences in a safe and caring environment, and we provide creative, dynamic, safe forums for teens to develop literacy and life skills. Our staff is amazing at making all of the programs we run possible, but we would not be able to be as successful if it were not for our volunteers. Volunteers are a vital resource to the programs and services provided to our youth, as they bring their talents and skills to every aspect of our programs.
