Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented ophthalmic technician to join our team. This ideal candidate will assist our ophthalmologist in providing high quality patient care by performing preliminary eye exams, diagnostic testing, and patient education. Take patient medical histories and document chief complaints. Measure visual acuity and perform refractions. Conduct diagnostic tests, including OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, and topography. Assist with tonometry, pachymetry. Administer eye drops and prepare patients for procedures. Educate patients on medication, post procedure care, and contact lens use. Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
