ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Installs and maintains central office cable system and other equipment. Troubleshoots CO equipment issues with Supervisor. Identifies fiber counts for splicing and adds new lines of service as directed by supervisor. Prepares splicing fiber at protectors/pedestals and making cross connects at splitter cabinets and Central Office. Transfers service from one cable or terminal to another for hot cuts.
