In this position, a detailer translates a creative designer’s conceptual rendering into manufacturing detail drawings that can be used to construct a sold project in one of our fabrication facilities. Each project we build is unique, but most all follow the same path; manufactured in a workshop, dismantled, transported to an event venue, and re-assembled for a live event. The regular duties of a detailer are to create manufacturing detail drawings using CAD software to fulfill the vision of the creative designer of a project while maintaining pre-set budgets. Along with creating the CAD drawings, the detailer specifies materials hardware and from on-hand stock; research and recommend new parts, materials, and build procedures for custom assemblies; and assists the production staff with any questions regarding the execution of the detail drawing set.
